Green on the Mind

With yesterday being St.Patrick's Day there is currently an abundance of green almost everywhere you look. It's exciting to see all the green, gets me thinking about how close Spring really is & reminds me that I need to get out in the garden. All this green also reminds me of how much money people tend to spend on weddings on things that are rarely recycled, often used only once & then thrown away.

The birds are singing to wake me up most mornings, kids are donning sweaters instead of parkas and the sound of laughter is filling the parks in the afternoons! I absolutely love this time of year, when people are just plain happy to be soaking up the sun and playing.
